ELIGIBLE TECHNOLOGIES FOR PURCHASE

HARDWARE:

1. The official form is an online application, available on the SWKLS website, that can only be submitted through the submit feature. No hard copy form is available. If you have problems submitting the form contact a system tech person for assistance.
2. Your Library has on hand the required 50% cash match for the technology item requested by the application date.
3. Public libraries in taxing counties and those who contract for two or more services, one service being Consulting, will be eligible.
4. You may receive only one technology grant per year. Grants not funded in the first round may be resubmitted for the second round.
5. One hardware type or software title per grant request.
6. A receipt must be submitted to the SWKLS Office by November 30 of the current budgetary year. Unencumbered funds of more than 5% above the cost of the item must be reimbursed to SWKLS. Failure to provide a receipt or to reimburse by the due date will result in the library becoming ineligible the next grant year.

Applications received after the grant period opens and before the deadline listed on the application will be considered for funding. Major Grants will be awarded two times each year with one-half the budgeted amounts being awarded each grant period.
