    • Surge protector or battery backup may have a built-in circuit breaker and may need to be reset.

Side Note: Power Loss
  • Loss of electrical power to the computer can cause it to not boot until power cord is removed and reseated.
  • Some computers are set to automatically restart when power is restored, some are not.
  • Power loss may cause PC to perform disk check when power is restored. Let it finish.
